Mexican Oregano is actually a member of the mint family, and is very closely related to Marjoram.  The taste of Mexican Oregano tends to be a little more intense than Greek Oregano, yet is less minty and bitter. Oregano is an important ingredient in many Mexican and Southwestern dishes.
