Flavored sugars are a fun and easy way to add unique flavor to just about anything, from beverages and salads, to baked goods and seafood, even roasted veggies and soups! We are very excited about this new line, and we wanted to share a little more information about how to use these innovative products!
Blueberry Sugar: This fruity sugar adds color and sweet flavor to just about anything! Add to oatmeal, chia seed pudding or your morning cereal to start off the day.
Toss with spinach, vinaigrette and walnuts for a fresh summer salad or sprinkle over fruit, French toast or ice cream. You can mix it into pancake, waffle or muffin batter or add it to smoothies or lemonade. For a savorier application, combine with balsamic vinegar for a sweet demi-glaze that is perfect on salmon, beef, venison, or pheasant.
Cinnamon Sugar: Bring back the warm memories of childhood with this classic cinnamon and sugar combination. Made with real Korintje cinnamon from Indonesia, this gourmet Cinnamon Sugar adds sweet and spicy dimension to many dishes. Sprinkle on pie crust before baking, dust apple slices for a delicious snack, top Indian spiced basmati rice or tandoori chicken, or add to your morning coffee!
