At High Plains Spice Company, we know that there is more to it than that: herbs’ diverse aromas and flavors can take us across the globe to far flung exotic places, or bring us back home in an instant!
Herbs de Provence is a traditional blend of herbs commonly used in Southern France. This fragrant blend of basil, rosemary, thyme, parsley, lavender, and savory adds exceptional herb flavor to chicken and fish, as well as rich game meats like rabbit and pheasant. Try mixing it with olive oil for dipping bread or as a salad dressing. It is also great on pork tenderloin!
Italian Seasoning is an extremely versatile mix that should be in everyone’s pantry. Add it to any tomato based sauce and use in dishes such as spaghetti, pizza, or chicken Parmesan. It can also be tossed with olive oil for a quick salad dressing, or mixed with higher quality olive oil for dipping bread. It is also an amazing addition to breads like focaccia and homemade pizza crust!
The fresh flavors of sun-dried tomato and basil, along with other herbs, garlic and citrus, make our Tomato Basil Blend a favorite for poultry, salads and Italian dishes. Also makes a great dressing or bread dip mix. Simply mix 1-2 tbsps of seasoning with 1/4 cup olive oil for bread dip mix. For vinaigrette, mix 1-2tbsps seasoning with 1/4 cup olive oil and juice of 1 lemon.

This classic combination of five popular herbs, along with garlic and red pepper flake, makes a great addition to sauces, soups and pasta dishes. Also try as a seasoning for chicken and fish, or combine with an olive oil for a flavorful salad dressing or bread dip.
Our Mojito Lime Seasoning is the perfect way to bring the fresh tastes of summer to every meal! Spearmint and garlic combine with other herbs and citrus to make this seasoning amazing on chicken, fish, seafood, veggies, and pork chops. Also try sprinkling on green salads, pico de gallo and pasta salads. It is one of our favorites on fish tacos!
Old World Flavor
The fragrant herbs dill and tarragon combine with citrus, black pepper and caraway to make our Scandinavian Spice. This blend is an excellent choice for poultry and fish, as well as large cuts of meat like pot roast, pork loin and rack of lamb. Also try in vegetable and egg dishes, add to breads, or mix with olive oil and use as a bread dip!
Our Old World Rub brings together all of the flavors of traditional European cooking. Fresh herbs combine with the slight spiciness of black pepper, fennel and brown mustard seed to make a blend that is wonderful on poultry, beef and pork roast, and rack of lamb. It is also a great choice for Thanksgiving turkey and Prime Rib.
