Dill Seed

Dill seed is the fruit of the dill plant that forms at the tip of the flower head.  The seeds have three lines running the length of the seed that are actually oil channels.  Dill seed has a very distinct anise characteristic along with some caraway undertones.

Most commonly used in pickling mixes, sauces, vinegars, and dressings. We love its flavor in our Black & Bold and Montreal Seasoning!
