Dill is native to the Mediterranean as well as southern Russia, but is now cultivated around the world.  Ancient Babylonians and Assyrians have recorded cultivating this herb as far back as 3000 BC.

Great on salmon and other fish.  Also try on asparagus, beans, chicken, egg, tomatoes, and potato salad.
