Delicious flavoring! I wasn’t sure if I needed maple extract because I use pure maple syrup regularly, such as to sweeten my coffee. But it really enhances the maple flavor with other uses. I used it in a maple cheesecake made with very dark pure maple syrup and it was just right for increasing the flavor.
