Crystallized Ginger

Crystallized ginger is made from young, fiberless ginger that is harvested about 90 days after planting. The ginger is then dipped in cane sugar syrup and crystallized. The sweet, sharp flavor of crystallized ginger is a great addition to baked goods and desserts, as well as coffee and tea. It is also good for digestion and is thought to help with motion sickness.
