Cuisine Type: American
Ingredients:
- 4 lbs Chicken Wings
- 5+ Tbsp BBQ Chicken, Greek Seasoning, Jamaican Jerk, or All American BBQ
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil or Melted Butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450. Line a large baking sheet with foil (to make clean up easier). In a large bowl (or gallon baggie) add the chicken, your choice of spices, and oil or butter. Toss/Shake the mixture of chicken, spices, and oil until all wings are well coated. You can also divide your wings into two or three batches and use a different seasoning blend for each batch.
- It is best to use a wire rack over the top of your lined baking sheet to keep the wings out of the juices that will be made while cooking. This will make for a more crispy wing. Arrange wings on the wire rack, and put into preheated oven.
- Cook for 30 mins, then flip wings. Cook an additional 10-20 minutes. Check wings to make sure they are done by cutting into the meat ensuring there is no pink, and all juices are clear.
- Enjoy!
- You can toss your wings in your favorite sauce (such as Franks hot sauce or your favorite BBQ sauce) after they have finished cooking for added flavor. We like to leave about half of them dry, and use a variety of dipping sauces.
TIP – If you plan ahead, coat your wings in spices and oil and put in the fridge for at least an hour before cooking. This will allow the flavors to penetrate the meat a little better. You can also throw these bad boys on your smoker or grill to cook instead of using the oven.
