- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat brown sugar, flour, salt, corn syrup, butter, eggs, and vanilla together. Either use a whisk by hand, or put in stand mixer and beat on medium just until blended. Stir in pecans by hand.
- Dump mixture into pie crust (which should be in pie dish). Put into preheated oven and cook for 45 minutes. Check pie. If still sloshy (not set), cook for additional 5-15 minutes or until filling is set. Remove from oven and let cool.
- Be sure to not burn crust. If becoming too brown, cover outer crust with foil to keep from burning.
