Classic Pecan Pie

One of the BEST PIES EVER. Plus, it is quick to put together with simple ingredients. This Pecan Pie Recipe is a must try and definite hit for the holidays or even special family event. If you have never tried a pecan pie, please do try this recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 9 inch pie crust (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat brown sugar, flour, salt, corn syrup, butter, eggs, and vanilla together. Either use a whisk by hand, or put in stand mixer and beat on medium just until blended. Stir in pecans by hand.
  3. Dump mixture into pie crust (which should be in pie dish). Put into preheated oven and cook for 45 minutes. Check pie. If still sloshy (not set), cook for additional 5-15 minutes or until filling is set. Remove from oven and let cool.
  4. Be sure to not burn crust. If becoming too brown, cover outer crust with foil to keep from burning.
